SIL2004

sil LOGOSIL2004 is a customer information and revenue management system, especially for electricity company. The system integrated all function of Customer Administration (TUL), either Customer Service, Stand Meter Data Management, Account Making, Invoice, Credit Monitoring, and Customer Bookkeeping.

SIL2004 has been integrated with Payment Point Online System (PPOS) and Data Warehouse which its analysis result becomes the input of Executive Information System for decision making in management level.

This system via Application Program Interface (API) is able to be integrated with other application or system like Geographic Information System (GIS), Automatic Meter Reading (AMR), prepaid system, payment via PRAQTIS, and other system providers.

SIL2004 is an enhancement of Integrated Customer Information System (SILT) that has been built since 1996. The system is built to meet the demand of PLN (Indonesia electricity company) for a customer information system that can be actually applied appropriate for PLN’s Customer Administration (TUL) and covers all Customer Administration’s functions so that it is able to ease business process within their environment.

SIL2004 has benefit and eminence as follows:

  1. Integrated system for all six Customer Administration’s function, that is able to connect business process of a department to other department within Customer Administration scope.
  2. Accommodate validation of Customer Administration Cyclic System.
  3. Flexible toward Electricity Basic Rate alteration.
  4. Accommodate deposit of electricity payment, collective new installment, and standardize address in address catalog.
  5. Easy to manage user access according to their role.
  6. Support data input from various sources, either from Portable Data Entry (PDE) or from Automatic Meter Reading (AMR), despite of manual input from meter reading officer.
  7. Invoice system has supported online payment point, that account selling is able to be monitored real time and any time.
  8. Accommodate all reports, flexible in format, support tabular reports, histogram, and graphic, and those reports are able to be exported in form of Excel / PDF.
  9. Equipped with cube based reports, that it is able to accommodate reuirements of reports in any flexible form for data analysis.
  10. Flexible toward any communication technology preference to support realization of online or offline payment service.
  11. Able to be implemented, either centralized or distributed.

This system is built to meet the demand of complex database management, cyclic system demand with complex implementation, the ability of data communication for real time online connection, and various types of reports.

This system has been implemented since 1996 up to now in PLN Nangroe Atjeh Darussalam Area, PLN West Sumatra Area, PLN South, Central, East, and West Kalimantan Area, and PLN East Nusa Tenggara Branch.

SIL2004 is continuously developed by keeping abreast of PLN business process.
