GBP Aerospace & Defence - PT Infoglobal is presenting the latest developments related to its i-22 Sikatan programme, including a full-scale cockpit model and flight simulator. The display marks a continuation of the company’s presence at the biennial event, following an earlier appearance in 2022 where both full-scale and smaller models were exhibited. While no official timeline has been announced for the i-22 Sikatan’s first flight, Infoglobal’s continued participation in Indo Defence and its steady progress in avionics development signal the company’s ambition to enter the global defence aviation market as a future fighter jet manufacturer. Among the technologies demonstrated was the 25-inch Infoglobal Panoramic Cockpit Display (IPCD), a touchscreen interface designed to serve as the primary flight display. Also introduced were the Helmet Mounted Display System (HMDS), which provides a head-up display integrated into the pilot’s helmet, and the Integrated Electronic Standby Display (IESD) as part of the aircraft’s backup instrumentation. The Infoglobal representative explained that the simulator serves not only as a demonstration tool but also as a test bed for avionics systems under development. These systems are evaluated through the simulator environment before being integrated into the actual aircraft.
